A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah documents the life and political journey of the author. He was born and raised in Algeria, where he was a victim of racism. This is where his dream of world peace was born. He was a top student in his academic career and always excelled in everything he does. From a little boy in Algeria, he grew up to be an important part of our society. Want to know more about this icon's journey? Take a deep dive into this interesting book.

There were many positive aspects to this book. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah's active life was compacted in this book. He relates his life story without boring his audience. I think his knack for storytelling is astounding. The themes of determination and persistence were evident throughout this book. The author's life is a testament that when you have a dream, you shouldn't stop until it is achieved. This was a very inspiring and enlightening book.

There was nothing to dislike about this book. The writing style and language were above average, so I would suggest you have your dictionary nearby, as this book contains some complicated words. However, this did not affect my reading experience. It gave the book a sophisticated and elegant feel.
Despite his diplomatic involvement and all the duties he had, he still found time for love. I enjoyed reading the love stories of his life. When Dr. Ghoulem Berrah met his wife, Titi, her parents did not approve of their union. They refused to give their blessings, but Dr. Ghoulem Berrah was persistent. It took a couple of years and a few meetings with the president of Africa to try to convince the young lady's father to give her hand in marriage. The father still refused. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah decided to get married, anyway. At the beginning of the marriage, they started having problems in the marriage and decided to separate. Years later, when they saw each other again, their love was rekindled. I think this was a beautiful story.

This book deserves no lower rating than 4 out of 4 stars. The editing was exceptionally well done with no grammatical errors. I like the history lesson embedded in this book. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah's affiliation with politics is astounding.

If you want to learn about the life of this political icon, this book is a great place to start. I would recommend this book to lovers of memoirs as well as historical nonfiction books. In conclusion, this was a well-written and very educational book.
