Have you ever wondered how sin came about? Do you want to know the origin of sin? If yes, the book Who Told You That You Were Naked? by William Combs is the book you should be looking for. In the book, William combs makes a concerted effort to educate us on how sin entered the world and some of the consequences we see today.

From the title, Who Told You That You Were Naked? We can see that William Combs alludes to the biblical story of creation, whereby God asked Adam and Eve this question after finding out that they had eaten the fruits of the forbidden tree. As the book progresses, the author dives deeper into the consequences of this disobedience, showing us illustrations from both the new and old testaments. The author has dove into various critical and challenging issues, like why do we pray to God to remedy our situations using our own solutions instead of just letting his will be done.

What I loved most about the book is how William Combs has developed his points and his supporting arguments. He has developed his arguments well enough, even using various references from the bible to support them. I also enjoyed the many lessons that I learned from this book. Through reading this book, I learned the real meanings of various biblical terms, phrases, and verses that I did not understand before. I also loved how he has used simple and easy language throughout, hence making it easy for everyone to understand. Moreover, I liked the discussion questions that were thereafter each topic for one to think about.

I found nothing to dislike about this book. It does not contain any spelling or grammatical errors. There was also no use of profane language, which might be disturbing to some audiences. It is safe to say that the book was professionally edited.

I would gladly give this book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. This is because everything about it was good and the message was clear. The book is also engaging as the author has arranged his points in a question-like format. Once you start reading it, you will just feel the urge to know more about it. I would recommend this book to teenagers and adults of the Christian religion or any other person who wants to learn about the concept of sin and its consequences.
