Why can't Johny just quit? is a brilliant book that is needed by the society now more than ever. It talks about the misconceptions and clear misunderstanding normal people do not know about drugs. It tells more than television show about being in addiction feels like or looks like. Doctor Kyle Oh, being an expert as a pain doctor before being an addiction doctor can change many lives by releasing this book. It is a great eye opener especially for those who are not aware about the real problem about drugs. He specially promote prevention rather than cure, he also gives several examples in his book that can be used and apply in real life situations. Why can't Johny just quit? will give readers new perspective, actually a simple perspective where even a child can understand about addiction. Why can't Johny just quit? is also a book that can change lives. Doctor Kyle Oh, has used his anger and disappointment from a patient who died because of addiction and because of that, from here on, he can start saving others.

There are many positive points in Doctor Kyle's book. It is full of hope and ways how we can stop the wrong beliefs about addiction. It gives chances to those who are suffering meanwhile a warning for those who are slowly getting hooked.

It is hard to find a flaw in a book that offers knowledge about the fallacies in the society like Why can't Johny just quit?. Although it is a sensitive topic and has lot of words not applicable for younger readers, the lesson it wants to imply is exceptional. What Doctor Kyle did is a good way of protecting the next generation.

Many people has wrong way of receiving information about addiction and that is the main reason why it cannot be cured. If people would only try to learn the truth about addiction, we can slowly kill this disease.

This book is recommended for everyone who can read. As early as a young age, it is necessary that children would know what is right and wrong about drugs and addiction, however, strong parental guidance is also needed because there are topic that can easily be explained by older ones.
