Review of Health Tips, Myths, and Tricks
With so many early deaths this century, many people have wondered and kept asking themselves, "What is the secret to a long and healthy life?" They have no idea that what they consume in and out of their bodies, as well as the activities they engage in daily, help shape their everyday lives and, in fact, extend their lifespan.
Health Tips, Myths, and Tricks by Morton E Tavel, MD, aims to provide more light or clarify the air on this topic. The author, a specialist in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases, shares a shocking list of medical tips, myths, and tricks that aims to explain the secret to living a healthy life, particularly in terms of what we eat, what we do, and what we shouldn't do, as well as our misconceptions about certain health concepts.
The book is also divided into three sections: the hidden mystery behind obesity and its treatment; the erroneous beliefs of people towards specific nutritional practices; and the essence of practical and verified medical procedures.
This book is highly valuable and helpful to me since it explains the importance of human nutrition and living a balanced and healthy lifestyle. The author spoke specifically about the dangers of eating certain meals that are appealing to humans, yet have negative health consequences. All of these were thoroughly explained by him, and I learned a lot from them. I enjoyed the author's book format, which covered a wide range of topics and left no stone unturned. Another aspect of the book that drew me in was the author's use of confirmed statistical references as well as the scientific justifications for these concepts to support his narrative. This served to reinforce and make believable his views. I liked the author's narrating tone, which was instructional while also being straightforward, appealing, and compassionate. On all levels, the book was incredibly instructional and outstanding.
Because this book was medically beneficial and taught a variety of daily advice, I think it's best to give it a 4 out of 4 stars rating. This is due to the book's simplicity and depth of medical detail, which ensured that nothing was left out. My reading experience was also fantastic and well worth it. It is, without a doubt, one of the best books I have ever read.
As a result, I would recommend this book to persons who appreciate medical literature, students, and those who wish to live a long and healthy life. This is because it has a wealth of knowledge that they would enjoy reading and learning about. Due to its sensitive and significant matter, it is also free of sexual elements but contains little profane language.
