I have been looking for an inspirational book to read for a while and came across Celia Belt's Remarkably Intact. I am glad I decided to read this inspirational memoir. It contained everything I needed and greatly helped me. Celia Belt, a burn and abuse survivor, wrote the book brilliantly.

In the first few pages of the book, the author describes how her life was terrible when she was young. She was only twenty-one months old when she was thrust into that dreadful scenario, which left her with facial scars. She grew up in an embarrassing environment due to her father's alcoholic, abusive, and violent nature. It's awful that her father began sexually abusing her when she was four years old. The events of her life compelled her to devote her time to ensuring that the survivors of burns and abuse are not forgotten. She provides medical, emotional, and financial help to the victims through the Moonlight Fund. Get your own copy to learn more about Celia Belt's story.

The aspect of this fantastic book that I liked the most was its inspiring nature. It's an inspiring story that has the potential to impact the lives of others who are dealing with similar issues in society. Furthermore, Celia Belt's narrative has the potential to alter our perspective on life. I learned, as the author did, that honesty and forthrightness are critical in navigating our path forward. The cover is another feature of the book that I liked. It's lovely and well-designed. It could easily appeal to me.

One feature of the book that I didn't like was how many spacing errors there were. This made me question if it had gone through the editors' hands. The book's language is straightforward, making it easy for readers to comprehend. The book's title was also breathtaking and well-designed. Despite the book's spacing issues, there is plenty this book can offer its readers.

This is a brief book that can be read in a few minutes. It only has 135 pages. It's also broken down into nine small chapters. Sexual abuse, love, marriage, family, love, education, drug abuse, and death are among the themes explored in this inspirational novel. The author's writing style drew me in. For example, the addition of an inspiring poem at the beginning of each chapter was fantastic. The poetry added to the story's intrigue and enjoyment.

This book gets 2 out of 4 stars from me. It was a book that was both educational and motivating, as well as heartwarming. The book's numerous spacing mistakes are the basis for removing two stars from the rating. This demonstrates that it was not professionally edited. As a result, another round of editing is required. It's a book I'd suggest to anyone who enjoys reading inspiring memoirs. Furthermore, burn survivors, abuse survivors, and others who are dealing with their own lives would greatly benefit from this excellent book.
