Cancer is a major threat to our species and hence must be combated in a skillful way to lower the number of fatalities. Manifesto for a Cancer Patient takes us through the horrendous journey of cancer right from diagnosis only this time chemotherapy and other modes of common treatment aren`t the only ways out of the woods. The author introduces naturopathy which is more of handling the cure of the disease naturally. This he does by giving earnest details of various foods and vitamins and how they play a part in the healing of cancer. He also lays down a few sample cases as well as frequently asked questions.

Colleen Huber has a wide experience in the same field and having set up his clinic can guide on matters cancer. There is a wide range of medicines stated in the book that can go a long way in helping a cancer patient in the recovery process. The book has a good number of tables portraying the data that the author has collected on various topics related to cancer contraction and such. The author expounds on various avenues which are deemed as businesses rather than ways of supporting ailing members of the society to return to their families.

Normally, this would be more than an exposition but the author has taken up the task and provided such hard-to-find truths. The use of easy chapters and various headings related to specific topics enables a reader to sail through actually to any section one is interested to gather information in a go without much ado. The author has gone out of his way by providing a plethora of links to help a patient get by easily. It also acts as a privilege for the author to have his clinic and various cases he has provided of success on his side. I love how the author takes his stand as a naturopath with no compromise to the businessmen trying to make themselves richer by carrying out chemos on cancer patients.

The use of points and numbering of essential points enables memorability and impacts the knowledge feeding process. This book can offer to heal only if one follows the detailed methods to the latter. I rather disliked the constant use of medical terms that were not expounded on and might impend reading for a reader not able to decipher the same. Needless to say, the book was superbly edited.

I rate the book 3 out of 4 stars since it lacks the thrill that can keep an audience on its feet seeking more. I would recommend it to physicians who can then educate the public and together we can take measure to combat the disease mostly naturally than by use of chemo
