A healthy lifestyle is necessary. How can people love food and still maintain their health? How can you recognize scams from genuine products? Are the things from Mother Nature always the best for you? How do you avoid unneeded drugs? All of these questions are answered in the one-of-a-kind and informational book Health Tips, Myths, and Tricks by Morton E Tavel, MD.

For starters, the book is divided into sixty-two short chapters, and there are three sections: Tips, Myths, and Tricks. The first part gives a lot of helpful tips about how people can maintain good health and the ways they can do that (with lots of accurate information to back up the author's claims). The author talks about trans fat consumption, the health benefits of green tea, dietary supplements, the best means to reduce excess fat, and much more. The second part reveals some of the common myths and misconceptions social media and modern culture have buried in our heads. It covers topics like fortified and organic food, gluten-free diets, probiotics, raw milk, etc. Last but not least, we have Tricks, the third part. It revealed shocking information on food product scams that I did not know previously.

I absolutely loved the playful titles like "False Cures: Don’t Be a Sucker!" and "Eat a Good Breakfast: Was Mother Right or Wrong?" I felt like they made the serious topic a bit more light-hearted. Moreover, I can't imagine how hard a subject like this is to write about. But I have to give it to Morton E Tavel. His easy-to-read writing style captured my attention the moment I read the first sentence and did not lose its magical touch as I dove deeper into the book. In addition, it is exceptionally edited since I was not able to find any grammar errors.

There are lots of people this book can benefit from. Health and wellness play a significant role in all our lives. Everyone can benefit from having some kind of information about it. I highly recommend Health Tips, Myths, and Tricks to people who are interested in learning about health and wellness.

Overall, Health Tips, Myths, and Tricks was an educational and entertaining read. The author used graphs and various resources to prove his point. There is nothing I did not like about the book. In conclusion, I am happy to give the rating 4 out of 4 stars.
