Review of Surviving the Business of Healthcare
Surviving the "Business" of Healthcare is a non-fiction book written by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C. This is a biographical fiction that uses her story to demonstrate how we might manage our health finances. The twenty-nine-chapter book explains several financial techniques for managing your healthcare. The book covers family practice from the perspective of a 4th generation physician assistant. It incorporates all areas of medicine, from fundamental health care to legal and financial considerations. Furthermore, the author discusses the future of medicine, although it is focused on financial health management.
After a near-fatal event, Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C understood the necessity for this. She also used medical jargon, places, and doctors throughout the narrative to emphasize various topics. The goal of this book is to alter readers' perceptions of healthcare and how to handle the financial costs. She did this in a number of ways, one of which was by detailing emergency plans. Ms. Regis PA-C described in a few words how we could stay afloat with them by having a sort of health insurance options, as they are always unavoidable. The author also explains why we all require health insurance and why the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
The book held the reader's attention. It was full of real-life situations, and it didn't lack for medical jargon, but she clarified much of it. It was relatable, and it informed people about medical disorders they may not have been aware of. Throughout addition, I enjoy the visual information at the end of the book about some of the names and places referenced in the book. As a result, it does not deserve a lower grade because the book provided clear instructions on how to succeed in the healthcare industry.
I rate Surviving the "Business" of Healthcare by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C four out of four stars. I honestly believe that no one will read this book and not have an experience similar to mine. It was jam-packed with information. There isn't a single item in the book that I don't like. Also, the book was professionally edited, since I discovered zero errors.
As a result, I recommend the book to everyone who wants to learn more about medical practices and how to manage their medical finances and insurance. Anyone dealing with a life-threatening illness might also benefit from the book by learning one or two lessons from the author's story. I highly recommend this book to health science students.
