Are you okay today? If you have lost, why don’t you try this book? Or even you’re still fine, how about searching for what makes you have that good feeling? Happiness is all we want aims to discuss what pleasure is in this modern life, what problems people need to deal with currently, and how to form a sustainable life. Overall, this book seems to be tricky to understand at first due to its topic, but the more I dip into it, the harder I find to put it down.

It is the sufficiency that I like best from Ashutosh Mishra’s work. Happiness is one of the most difficult things to define, and it is too abstract to point it out clearly. To solve this problem, the author has covered it in 3 main elements which make me satisfied once I finished. They are mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. I am going to give him 100 points for this approach because people mostly focus only on the physical and spiritual ones.

One more thing I enjoy in this piece is the author’s illustrations. All of them come right from his own experience. They are him, his wife, his friends, his family in his book. It makes me feel closer and curious to know more about his life.

In the meantime, I find so many things hard to understand in this book. I don’t say this is a drawback because it may be both advantage and disadvantage. Due to my age, my knowledge, my background, and so many personal reasons, they prevent me from comprehending the author’s ideas. I can say this book should be read repeatedly and carefully because I not only read but also practice it after reading.

I give this book 4 out of 4 stars. It’s truly what I am searching for and the author also gives practical tips in order to help readers bring what they have read into the real world. For somewhere I find doubtful, I’m okay with it and thanks to it I think I will read it again so many times.

If you are looking for an entertaining or something clear, I don’t think this book is for you. Everyone can try this book, but you must be the person who already has the certain life experience to acquire this topic. This book is best suitable for slow reading. Happiness is all we want will be interesting when you find out what makes you happy and practice changing your life step by step according to the author’s advice.
