Bitcoin Answered: A Beginner's Guide To Everything Bitcoin focuses on the well known, most used cryptocurrency in the world. The book dives into an honest look at the good, the bad, and the questionable things about Bitcoin. There are diverse ways to use and leverage Bitcoin for everyday real-life benefits. Thus, this book explores that. In a series of questions and answers format, the complex topic of Bitcoin gets simplified. Moreover, it provides the reader with an easy to follow educational guide.

This book by Jon Law attempts to clarify the disjointed info the general public has of Bitcoin. It provides a comprehensive educational foundation required for success within the Bitcoin world. The author stated that it is more harmful to start investing in crypto without studying. So, it is best to have a solid understanding of the essentials of digital currency. And that is what this book provides.

The rise of the cryptocurrency market saw an upward trajectory from Bitcoin's launch. It has grown into a trillion-dollar asset. Since then, other key players within crypto emerged, and this book mentions them.

Understanding Crypto always felt like a time-consuming, intimidating and complex undertaking for me. Although it still holds some truth, this book prepared me for the realities ahead. It has shattered one of my great limiting beliefs about cryptocurrency. That limiting belief is that I must be a trader and spend hours a day partaking in the trading process.

In actuality, I can be a buyer and holder of my Bitcoins and still see profits (Law, 93). Yes, successful trading will see you more profit than holding. But, according to the author, you must ask yourself the following. "Do I have the time, effort, timing and comprehension required for a successful trade?" And for me, the answer is no. There are a couple of other ways holders can use their Bitcoin for more gain and profit. So this was one of my first positive aspects of Bitcoin Answered.

Another positive aspect of Bitcoin Answered was the focus on security and safety. The safety of transactions, trading and more with regards to digital wallets is a core worry. That is what usually hinders interested persons from getting involved in cryptocurrency. The book does a great job of providing answers to and informing readers of its technology or process. Thus, the book is honest about the benefits and disadvantages of using Bitcoin in this regard. Moreover, the role Government mandates are having on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

To round off the positive aspects of Bitcoin Answered, although they are quite a few. The author provides readers with extra resources providing them with immense value. Acronyms used within the field of crypto have definitions throughout the book. If you need more explanation on terms, there is a Resources section of the book. And within that is a Crypto Essential Dictionary used to define the jargon used here. There are Book referrals, Trading Platforms, Podcasts and Youtube channels, educational options here. Moreover, Charting Services and News services are other resourceful cryptocurrency information provided.

To list what was not so good or negative about this book is somewhat challenging. Cryptocurrency is a complex concept and technical topic. But to be fair, the technical process could be more descriptive or analogies inserted. The author used some analogies, but more needs considering for complex concepts.

Bitcoin is a mega concept to grasp. I came away after some reads a bit more confused than other days. Moreover, some readers will have to re-read this book a few times to resonate with the concept. But, simplifying this concept of Bitcoin, the author did well. So with confidence, I award this book a three out of four stars. It was well-edited, but the novice could enjoy more analogies.

I recommend Bitcoin Answered to anyone who wants to get in on digital currency. Moreover, any digital marketer who has yet to buy into the world of cryptocurrency. All tech-savvy beginners and those becoming tech-savvy will enjoy its value.
