Happiness is All We Want by Ashutosh Mishra is a very wholesome book that talks about fitness, mental health, and balance in life in general by using certain techniques and concepts. This is a book that is needed by the youth or even those who are having crises in their work, mental health, social life or marital affairs. It suggests using yoga as a way of maintaining our mental health, decluttering our mind in order to have a balanced life. It does not directly suggest the reader to do yoga but in most of the situations, it is integrated into the examples thus knowledge and practice of yoga is definitely a plus to be able to maximize the effects of the activities in the book.

What I liked this book is that it has actual real life situations in which the reader can relate to even if you are a teenager, a worker, a housewife or even a boss. It is not very complicated to read and is applicable to all ages, whatever job they are having right now. It also offers a step by step exercise which the reader can follow through and actually not be overwhelmed by the process and steps given in the book. It also contains sections like Practical Tip and Tech Traps which gives more focus on situations that we are seeing and experiencing in our society this time that we are in the technological innovation and we are suddenly all on our phones.

Although this book offers practical tips, much of the book mentions yoga and mentions about gods in Buddhism thus, this book can be quite uncomfortable for people who are atheists or are devoted to one religion. Some terms also need considerable research for someone who is not knowledgeable in yoga or Buddhism to understand and relate to it, thus it takes time to fully relate and understand to the book. This is not a typical self - help book. It is filled with physical and mental exercises which is centered in yoga and Buddhism thus if you don't like these topics, the book is not for you. If you are open to any religion and is curious about yoga, then this is a book you definitely should read.

I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars because it is a good and a very timely book. We are in this world surrounded by technology and we are bombarded by many things that we are usually out of focus, out of energy. This book reminds us to stop and breathe and clear our mind and relax our body once in a while. As much as the content is good and informative, I cannot give it four stars because some punctuation marks were used inappropriately. Also, the book can definitely be improved in terms of editing.
