Review of The Inner CEO
As long as you are concerned about adapting to the new, fast technology era regardless of the role you take up at your facilities, this book is one of the best choices for your next business steps. The Inner CEO covers as much as needed information for those who want to grasp the chances in the modern period to bring their businesses to the next level. Despite the fact it seems to be perfect, there are still some gaps that should be noticed to be better.
About what makes me feel satisfied, the first thing that must be noticed is the easily understandable layout. To begin with, Jeremy Blain has covered the purpose of his work so clearly within 23 pages. Before reading the details, I take a look at the Table of Contents, I observe that 90%, 6 out 7 chapters, of his work is attached with real illustration – practice interviews, and there is only one chapter based on his own business. It is advised that this book is mostly built in an objective way.
Moreover, the information from this book is absolutely priceless. Jeremy Blain has created one of the most outstanding sources for guiding and identifying the ways which most CEOs need to transfer in the 4.0 revolution such as brainstorming, what you should prepare, setting plans, how to bring what you think into reality... In addition, I personally find this knowledge so valuable. I am 24 and work as a freelancer for my own business so I can take a lot of advantages from this book. It is so hard to say that is the best thing or the most valuable but it does give me the guidelines in my own way.
On the other hand, everything has both sides, when the author deploys so clearly as I mention above, it appears to be lengthy to finish reading the half left. Honestly, I can not maintain the same pace as same as I start with strong enthusiasm. Because the topic of this book is science & researching and its aim is to give information, it is not required to read the whole text if you can get clear what the author wants to tell you.
I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars. For all of the advantages of this book I have listed, I respect the author’s valuable knowledge and his effort to do this book. But I feel so sorry to take 1 star back due to my unsteady feeling. Even so, I do not blame this defect for the author’s mistake.
The book is best relevant for everyone from adolescence, college students, freelancers to employees or business owners as long as they are desire to create something different but timely in this brand new era of technology. No matter who you are, if you are seeking new instructions and in-person lessons for your business, this book is for you.
