Review of Gods Gift (Woman)
Gods Gift (Woman) by Freddie Floyd Jr is a book for all since it cuts across a very key subject of our day to day living as men and women concerning how we relate to one another. It goes to show what a gift a woman is and in the process serves to empower a woman and to teach a man of a womans worth as well. Freddie uses biblical references to show and support his beliefs in as far the worth of a woman is concerned. It is a book full of biblical truths as stated by the writer to push the title and ensure it is well understood. Freddie begins by clearly bringing to light how precious and special a woman is and goes to explain why through precise biblical scripts. It continues to get deeper with more enlightment on how men are to treat women and how women are to act towards men in order to pass a message of their worth to them. It clearly serves to equip women to know who they are and their worth and teach men how to treat women even as women learn how to act accordingly.
The most beautiful aspects found in this book are the scriptures attached to every statement given that serve to give more weight to the words written my favorite being that "husband's ought to love their wives". Further more the simplified and flawless English makes it very easy for any reader to flow in as far as reading and understanding is concerned. The number of words used were not too many thus making it a quick read as well. In its few words (56 short pages)it still brings about deeply loaded words of wisdom. Freddie uses humor and rhetoric questions to bring forth his points in a clearer and more dramatic manner hence doing away with monotonous reads that are too serious. He also uses practical and real life examples to help him elaborate his message further in a more relatable way. I also love the arrangement and flow of the book. Job well done in as far as editing is concerned
I confidently would love to say I did not take note of any negative things to highlight. I enjoyed the read and I would highly recommend it to women of all circles regardless of religion for empowerment in knowing just how precious they are. Also highly recommend to the men in our community to be able to understand and comprehend this mistery they refer to as a woman. It will serve as a great tool for both as it is geared towards empowerment and improving human relations between the two. It most likely would serve as great boost for the Christian community because it goes a long way to explain biblical truths about Gods'view on a woman and what He desires to see the man do regarding the same. This does not in any way serve to exclude any person irrespective of religion from getting to learn from this beautiful tool of wisdom and empowerment.
I would rate this book four out of four stars because of its simplicity yet great depth none the less.
