Who told you that you were naked? William Combs is a religious book focused on the events at the Garden of Eden. It elaborates on the origin of sin and the subsequent fallout trickling down to Cain, Abel, and even Noah and his ark. It highlights the different meanings of the term naked in Eden, and how most people view this concept, especially towards good and evil.

The book mainly focuses on the early life of Adam and Eve in the garden and the fallout of their disobedience by eating the fruit. This signifies the origin of sin, which led them to be thrown out of Eden, thus creating a domino effect that emanated from that first choice to how life is today. The book drives home the point about how choices can change the trajectory of one’s life.

The book focuses on the scripture; therefore, one must have some sort of knowledge concerning the life of the first man and woman to have some understanding of the book. The author also adds some of his life experiences, making it relatable to the reader as it shows that no man is perfect, everyone makes mistakes, and if we acknowledge them and ask for forgiveness, we can seek absolution from them.

What I liked most about the book is how the author makes it relatable and interactive in multiple chapters, making the book even more memorable, and long-lasting in one’s memory. It is also educational, especially towards Christianity, and serves to enlighten others towards the wonders of life with God. There was nothing to dislike about the book as it served to inspire, motivate spread of love, and hope to those who read it.

The book is professionally edited and contains no sexual content since it is a Christianity-themed book. There were no instances of profanity used, however, the book is majorly based on Christianity, rather than other religions, therefore, can be misconstrued as a tool, offensive to other religions to the narrow-minded, which is clearly not.

I recommend this book to the lost and hopeless, as it can help bolster or give on faith towards Christ and all his marvelous nature. It is also motivational and stimulates one's imagination, making it an enjoyable and fun read. All are welcome to read this book as it can change one's point of view on how life works, and what can be done to change it. I happily rate it at four out of four stars.
