Do you struggle with thoughts of comparing yourself with other people and their successes? Or often find yourself judging yourself based on how close or far you're from your goals? Or do you struggle with feelings of fear or even jealousy? This book should be your first choice!

In his book, Apotheosis Now , Yanhao Huang discusses concepts and addresses various key questions in the minds of most human beings, such as what lasting happiness means, who we are, and the difference between self-image and absolute reality in our lives. Yanhao is an enthusiast of philosophy with aspirations to understand the true nature of human existence. He has researched and written how to realize absolute reality more so in this book. Within the 112 pages of this self-help book, readers will find a bounty of resolutions to most questions. The author seems to present in two parts: the first four chapters, the author deals with the origin of the ego(self-image, which is mistaken identity) and its undesired consequences before trying to provide reasonable solutions for liberation from the ego itself in the last four chapters.

The author also points out our propensity to draw images and perceptions about other people (even ourselves) and take them as reality while in the real sense, they are an altered reality. Moreover, the author states that we are not identified by qualities such as the abundance of qualifications, riches, or perfect appearance rather by persistent patterns established by constant and successful associations between the internal and external environment.

Yanhao uses a descriptive style and simple language in describing his concepts. In his description, he applies repetition of phrases and gives lots of analogies on a concept which is essentially positive because he ensures that he fully describes the whole concept without leaving the reader with some unanswered questions. Furthermore, his narrative style favors and engages the reader by posing questions and giving a challenge allowing you to think and reflect on yourself as you read. Thus, he uses parenthesis properly -even though sometimes it's not needed- to emphasize the concept in question.

Unfortunately, the descriptive narrative fails with some redundant clauses and similar words ( albeit in different forms) in the same paragraph. Also, Huang applies too many examples for the same idea, though they may boost the reader's understanding, which may become tedious to some.

Nonetheless, there are more positives than outweigh the negatives to take from this book. I didn't dislike anything from the book, in particular, for the book has clear illustrations, perfect writing style, professional editing, and good language. Thus, I am giving the book a rating of 4 out of 4 recommending its reading.

I recommend this book to anyone out there looking for answers of realization of personal identity, someone looking for answers on the nature of existence and absolute reality on themselves as a self-help tool in their journey to real happiness regardless of the ethnicity, gender, religion, and age since it shows no use of vulgarity.
