What would you do if you found out you have been unconsciously programmed your whole life? In Divine Simplicity Day 3 Unity in Community, Yasher Echad El challenges the reader to question what they see and hear through mainstream media and entertainment.

I find the writer's style persuasive and thought provoking. He tackles a controversial topic with grace backing his ideas with hard facts. He also tactfully uses popular culture such as movies and songs to make it relatable to the reader.

The author is however harsh on the LGBT community as expressed in his strong opinions on them. In a conscious society, sexual orientation should not be grounds for judgement.

I would give the book a rating of 3 out of 4


In the end, the author manages to leave the reader asking questions they dared not ask before. He also provides a guide to parents to help steer their children from social ills such as crime amd prison which he himself went through. I would highly recommend the book and yhe series to anyone trying to find their place in modern society.
