Firstborn:Daddyman
Firstborn daddyman is book written by author, Frank Bailey. In this book the author unpacks his journey of transformation and restoration through a series of unexpected life events and experiences that groomed him into becoming the man he is.Here the author shows us how he overcame his street life, from being a young teenager stuck in his ways to a prominent man he is presently. If you believe in transformation, restoration and change then this is a book to read.

Frank begins his story by taking us through his christian background, his childhood, his rebellious teenage years and how he ended up signing up for the Marine corps. He later explains how his life took an unexpected turn after being discharged from the Marine corp due to his troublesome behavior. After his release he changed and explored his interests but sooner retracted back to his old habits of drug dealing but this time he was not a distributor but a Drug Lord. Later in his book things take another unexpected turn that changed his life forever. After years of transformation and a lot of uncertainty, Bailey sees God and takes charge of his life by form of restoration. Here he sees God’s love, mercy and protection.

Despite the interesting twists and turns this book has a few grammar and spelling errors that are noticeable. Also Bailey takes time to reach the peak of his book, because he seemed to focus more on his street life rather than unravelling other aspects that the reader would have loved to know.

With all that being said, this is an adequate and interesting book of experience and deserves a mediocre 2/4 rating. This book would be enjoyed by people with an interest in inspirational biographies and educative books of experience and lessons. It can also be read by people of all ages due to its lack of erotic content and profanity.
