The Drug-Free Sleep Solution: The Four-Week for Overcoming Insomnia Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy expresses in a motivating way a method to avoid insomnia or to improve sleep. It is a step-by-step guide of what to do or carry out to be able to have continuous nights of sleep or how to manage that insomnia that occurs on some occasions.

David Durocher presents us with a series of steps as well as data that should be known about insomnia and even curious facts. He specifies how not only the guide should be followed, but also therapy should be carried out. He also explains that in many cases there is more than one cause of why you have insomnia and how to combat these problems. Here I refer to the fact that a magnificent aspect of this book is that it not only helps people with insomnia but also magnificently helps to obtain a night of better quality sleep. I say this because, by following its steps, I was able to obtain a solution to those nights that presented insomnia, as well as those in which it was only difficult to sleep.

I only have one negative aspect to mention and it is simply that at the beginning of the book it mentions the order in which the chapters should be read, which in my opinion is somewhat annoying because they do not follow the order that one expects or as they are listed in. For this reason, I mention it as a negative aspect, but apart from this I have no other negative aspect, on the contrary, I only find positive aspects, since it has given me numerous useful tips to be able to sleep and improve my lifestyle at the same time.

I give it a rating of 4 out of 4 stars mainly because the book is a good guide and is very helpful without necessarily following all the advice. This indicates what can be done if you decide to follow the advice step by step and not just skip some. Another reason is that it is well-edited, I did not find any error in any of the pages read, so I think it deserves this rating.

The recommended audience for this book, in my opinion, would be mainly people who have trouble sleeping or suffer from insomnia. Also, for those who tend to overthink things at night or who have a problem with their sleep cycles, This book is a funny way to help regulate our dream cycles, not only with tips but with the help of some software. On the other hand, I would also recommend it to all those people who know they have trouble sleeping but use prescribed medication. since this is a natural and less harmful way to get the results that are needed. Of course, I am not leaving behind all those who would like to have better quality sleep than they now have this book will help them too, so I recommend it to them.
