How To Be Successful, by M. Curtis McCoy is a book about a journey towards dreams and goals. It gives you the author's perspective, insight, and experiences, which makes this book relatable and enjoyable. This book contains strategies for self-development and steps to reach success. Each chapter focuses on a specific topic and will help you develop yourself step by step. Not only that, but the author also emphasized the importance of each topic and how it affects our lives. This book also has a lot of interviews with successful people; each interview will give you those people's perspectives and advice, that will help you in your further development. The interviewee in this book including Jeff Wobig, Nathan Schulhof, Jeff McGregor, and other wonderful people. There is also an interview with the author himself, which will help you understand more about the author.

The great aspect of this book is that the story is full of positivity about how the author overcomes his challenges and journey toward success. Most of the topics are based on the author's experiences, so it’s engaging and keeps you in. The topics are also well-organized, so the previous topic will help you understand the importance of the next topics. The author did a great job in making this book easy to comprehend yet still interactive. The interview highlights a particular aspect of the interviewee's view toward success, and the question is well selected and covers the essentials of personal development. That aspect will help the reader in absorbing the strategies and relate that to the interviewee's experience much better.

One of the interviews is like not being taken seriously by the interviewee, which decreases the reader’s reading experience. Overall, this minor aspect is negligible considering the great quality of the book. This book also doesn’t have unnecessary detail and that makes the content more efficient.

I give the book 4 out of 4 stars. The reading experience was great and the topic was enjoyable. I learn a lot from this book, especially in the aspect of personal development. I also can feel the author's passion for helping others.

I recommend this book to people that seek self-development. The book related to the aspect of life and its difficulties. This book will help the reader to not only know the steps of being successful but also deeply understand the author’s point of view and intend in helping other people reach success.
