When I chose to read this book The MISOGI Method by Jody B. Miller. I picked it expecting I could get a vast knowledge of the ancient Japanese method of cleansing. But along with the relevant information, I also got self-help and learning as a bonus. I'm grateful that it consists of facts and words that hold such deep meanings into finding yourself. I say this book is not just about Misogi but also finding yourself within. Are there some past memories that you are holding accountable for what your present thinking is like? You need to De-condition your mind and let go of those limiting beliefs. Would you like some guidance? Read this amazing book of collective thoughts and expand your mindfulness.

I was concerned by the fact that Mahatma Gandhi was spelled incorrectly as "Ghandi" This was not the first time I have come across this misspelling of Gandhi’s name. Being an Indian, I can suggest when it comes to foreign names that we rarely come across, careful research must be done in order to get the spelling right. Though, there is no English phoneme for dh. We don't spell "Mahatma Ghandi" that actually becomes something else entirely if you see it from the perception of a person who speaks Hindi. But that could be ignored since the meaning of the words matter to me rather than the names.

The biggest appeal for me and very few people would notice that this book contains tips for writers too. I am a writer and my observation couldn't let it pass me by. This one was the deal breaker for me. Worry about it a lot for 2 minutes and then say, Bye Worry! I filled those given questions with my personal opinions and will keep reminding me to reflect upon my thoughts once in a while to stay consistent. You can also buy a Misogi journal on Amazon as informed by the author herself. I felt the story was especially strong in the area of understanding the mindset of humans when we think everything is impossible at first, if only we get out of that comfort zone. I was captivated by the key takeaways in the end.

I am going to rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. It's beautifully written and the concept itself is the main factor in rating a book. The chapters are short and sweet. Every chapter begins with a thought and ends with a quote. The very reason I decided to read this book is to help me get out of my comfort zone, knowing what I'm capable of, and power of my own will to do something that seems impossible. This book provided me with just that. I would consider this book to be a must read for those people who love challenging their abilities and wanting to be better in skills everyday.

If you do a MISOGI, your life can transform into one of lasting meaning, purpose, success and happiness - Jody B. Miller. Also, I learned a new meditation to release stress. You will find it in Part two benefits of a Misogi - Positivity Happiness Success. Plus there are a lot of useful resources. My favorites so far were those Deconditioning exercises plus doing a Misogi makes you Brave, Creative, Confident, and Humble. Good enough reason to choose a Misogi to perform right now. I already have some in my mind and I'm going to start right after the review.
