How To Be Successful is a motivational book written by M. Curtis McCoy. Curtis was a successful man at the early age of 27 years. He owned various companies in different industries and made a difference in all. He was diagnosed with serious brain cancer and was given 60 to 90 days to live. Curtis refused to give up, and neither did the family, as they all sort for ways to keep him alive. He lost everything in his life, but was determined to make an impact in the world before leaving it. While he was on his sickbed, he started reaching out to successful people he could contact to find out how their success came about. All their success stories were compiled in this book.

The author interviewed various successful people like Connie Wyatt, Jeff Wobig, and a lot more. He asked some interrogative questions about their view and opinion. The questions asked are the definition of success, the point in which they believed they became successful, their weaknesses and the step they are taking towards the solution, their area of strength and many more.

The author compiled the questions and the replies he got from the successful people he interviewed, in a simple and interesting way. This brought out the detailed information the author was trying to pass across. He also made sure that he included his personal experience in the book to make the reader know the kind of person that he is and why he is qualified to talk about success. The interviews and the success were missed together intermittently to make sure that the readers are not bored by reading just interviews or just his experience. I love the area the author talked about positivity and negativity, using his experience with a homeless person as an example. This made me understand that the state of our mind affects how we see things and will always allow us to make excuses for failure. All these made me enjoy the book.

The book was professionally edited with no errors noticed. The book referenced various recognized books and used them to support his facts. This made the book practical in its way.

Therefore, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The rating is justified by the above-mentioned points. I will be recommending this book to people who are craving to be successful and people who are struggling on their way to success. The book can be used to bring out the success in people.
