First and foremost, the title for this book is ...on your way home...Do This. It is a remarkable book that narrates the life of its writer, George Six. He was born in the Great Depression. Unfortunately, George wasn’t aware of a war that would happen 7 years later. It totally changed his way of thinking.

Moreover, he was driven to engage in meaningful work as much as possible. Therefore, George continued to finish school. After he graduated from university, the author worked his way up in a company as an insurance agent. He eventually led an insurance shop. George was also married to his partner, Irene. They were both blessed to have three children. The life-changing experience began when his son almost died from a tractor accident. Later on, George was intrigued to join a seminary where he desired to serve God.

In my opinion, the book contains several exceptional stories for the readers to relish. The most important one is the author's genuine intention to become a priest. George didn’t hesitate to talk with friends and relatives about it. Although some family members were initially worried about his mental health, he managed to convince them.

In addition, George wrote about the diverse challenges of missionary service in unique locations, which people would find really appealing. Furthermore, the editing is very well done. I honestly did not find any error whatsoever.

Unfortunately, a major dislike I’d share from ...on your way home...Do This is the story flow. The book is too simple and obvious. After completing a few chapters, it is not difficult to predict what would happen next in the author’s life. Besides, the content is a bit tedious since there are not too many staggering events or surprising twists.

Nevertheless, I admire one of his robust messages. It persuades us to continuously preserve our hope, joy, love, and health in modern life, regardless we believe in God or not. Even though George mainly includes religious features, the book is not just intended for Christians. I believe most people can enjoy his writing, especially young adults. However, I do not recommend it for children because there are profane words inside. Overall, I would personally give this book 3 out of 4 stars.

Last but not least, I’d highly suggest that George could write further about his daughters and son whenever he wasn't around them. This kind of topic might create an interesting perspective. In the end, some readers may be curious too.
