The Spirituality Puzzle by James Rondinone and Renee Rondinone is a simple discussion about the divine between a father and a daughter. A simple discussion that turns out to be something that touches upon numerous important topics in our modern society. The arguments are in most cases directly taken from the natural source of wisdom for so many generations before us, they are taken from the bible and from other scriptures. The main argument that follows along the book is the problem of conversion of an unbeliever to a believer. And in the midst of this discussion, the author turns out writing about and digging deep into a sequence of biblical axioms. While the most interesting sources of his argumentation in my opinion were the stories of Noah and Abraham. While these stories are being very morally and philosophically interesting by themselves the author provides us with interpretations of these stories that are applicable in various situations nowadays.

Overall if simplifying I think the main point of this book is the relations of a person to Christ. While Christ being a philosophy that was carrying upon its shoulders the wellbeing of numerous generations before us, the main point of this book in my opinion is if the person enters in Christ, it enters into an ultimate state of wellbeing, absolute happiness, and everlasting salvation from all sins.

I like that all of the arguments are properly explained by a professional and that all of the arguments are properly placed in the discussions and are taken from a good source. Also, I enjoyed the simplicity of the book while it was discussing difficult subjects. The style of the author is very simple in terms of reading, and it’s very easy to get hooked by it.

In terms of negative aspects, I think that certain theological references may not be understood by people who don’t have as much knowledge about Christianity. I think that certain references should be a little more explained in detail.

The book is very enjoyable due to many of its positive sides. It’s very well edited. It contains a lot of very interesting points that will make anyone think about a lot of things for a long time. I think regardless that the book is about religion mainly, only religious people should read it, I think instead that people with different views on religion should read it in the first place. And those who hesitate to read it should understand that this book is viewing religion mainly as a philosophical concept rather than a tradition of some sort. Regardless of your religion and regardless of your views on the world, you should at least try to approach the faith and realize why so many people are seeking it.
I rate this book 4 out of 4.
