Review of Perfect
Fears are kept deep in our minds, they determine our actions. Fear can stop us from doing something essential for our being and destroy our self-grow. Where do fears come from? Are they coincidences from some past experiences? Do we arrive in this life with them or do we gain fears over the years? Is there any way of getting over fears? Judi Miller in her brilliant book Perfect gave us answers to all of these questions and brought us into a spectacular world full of love and joy. Brought us into the perfect world.
In Perfect Judi Miller teaches us how to love, how to forgive, and how to transform ourselves, as the cover of the book itself says. Judi has never been just a regular woman. Her whole life she’s been standing out. But, as the world hardly accepts diversity, she used to hide. She used to limits herself and put away her true life gifts. She was full of inexplicable fears that she kept down in herself. Full of fears that separated her from quiet and carefree life. Years were passing and she fell into the rat race. She fell into the torturous circle with no end. But, life had higher plans for Judi. It wanted to show her that everything is perfect. Although sounds bad, her sickness made her change her life, confront her fears and become the best version of herself.
Reading this book helps us realize how amazing life is orchestrated and that there are no coincidences. Everyone we meet, we meet for a reason. Everything that happens to us, happens for a reason. Everything we think and feel, we think and feel for a reason. In Perfect Judi told us her own story of becoming aware of this and gave her insights to readers of her book. Judi shared her path of change. Shared information on how her sickness helped her start a new chapter. She shared relationships with important people in her life. She shared ways that she overcame her fears. And most important shared her thoughts and emotions.
This is the type of book that makes you think about what you have read for days. And the type of book that makes you do something in your life. That is why I genuinely enjoyed Perfect so much. Because the story is written in the first-person point of view, it is easy to identities with it. To be honest I didn’t find anything not to like about this book. It is moving, it is written in understanding form, it makes you read it with great compassion. Given that I didn't spot any typos in the text I consider this book exceptionally well-edited. Because of this and the fact that I loved every single sentence in Perfect, I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.
To sum up, I would recommend this book to everyone that struggles with overwhelming fears, to everyone who doesn’t “fit in”. To everyone who wants to transform themselves and their life. The best thing is that you can have no experience in healing work and you will still, understand everything Judi has said.
