I love how the author states that branding starts with values. Having clear values helps you make sure that all your employees work to attain the same goals."If you want people to be real with you, you have to be real with them.". This not only applies in branding but also in all aspects of human life.Brand real emphasizes the importance of effective leadership but also includes how to construct and execute a business plan and all the legalities associated with it. It also includes the insights of experts like David Balfrou, co-founder of Light Blue, and Claus Schuster, managing partner of Defacto x.

Not having a background in marketing or business management I can vouch that the book is easy to understand and concise and well researched. It also includes illustrations charts and references that keep the readers engaged. Each chapter has takeaways and exercises which help with a thorough understanding of the topic. I found it interesting that the book included messages for the storytellers and writers. It is important to pitch in your ideas and goals in the form of a story that resonates with the customers and investors.

As much as I like the book I found a few things troublesome. Repetition of thoughts and ideas, as well as multiples references of the author's own brand agency, makes me quite disinterested. However, the book keeps you motivated and helps you to meet your goal of building your own brand. I would recommend this book to all budding entrepreneurs, startups, or anyone who wants to inculcate leadership qualities and overall personal growth

I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because it is exceptionally well written, well researched, and professionally edited. This book is a must-have on your bookshelf! To sum up Brand real is a complete guide for branding or for brushing up one's entrepreneur skills
