Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress: A Practical Guide is a breath of fresh air. We all can agree that stress and anxiety can have a huge role in our everyday lives. Many of us struggle to find the answers as to how to deal with it. Too much stress and anxiety can be extremely harmful to the body and brain. The author speaks on how stress and anxiety are the main contributes to high blood pressure, headaches, altered moods, and increased cholesterol. Both stress and anxiety are silent killers. Many people take no action in dealing with stress or anxiety because they don’t realize how big of an impact it has on their lives. The author teaches us that we should never ignore the signs because ignoring the symptoms will only worsen the condition.

One incredible way to deal with the pressure of stress and anxiety is to practice something called mindful meditation and learn breathing techniques. In today’s society, people often run to medicine for temporary relief, and it seems more and more anxiety victims are getting addicted to prescribed medicine and now they have even bigger problems to face. Sometimes all we need is to be patient and listen to our bodies. Your body rewards you when you treat it right and punishes you when you don’t. This book reports that there are 19 million cases of diagnosed anxiety in the United States alone and only a small percentage seek help.

This is a wonderful book for feeling better, it provides you with information about your health as well as things you can do to cope with stress and anxiety. This book also covers information about phobias. A phobia can trigger stress and anxiety which is why it is so hard to deal with. Anxiety may vary from person to person some people suffer from anxiety often and some only have anxiety issues around large crowds or in the public. Public anxiety is also known as social anxiety. Social Anxiety can be affecting you and you may be unaware or think it’s normal. I encourage everyone to read this book to know the signs.

This book tells you about the signs, and how to break free. It teaches us how to deal with: Stress-the feeling of being overwhelmed by mental or emotional pressure. Anxiety- a feeling of worry nervousness or unease usually about a certain outcome. Fear-an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous.

Overall, I give this book a 4 out of 4 because I learned a lot of information on how to deal with stress and anxiety daily, also knowing how to recognize the signs and how to seek help. This book is your ultimate guide to health.
