[rwc=id454074-125]3 out of 4 stars.[/rwc]SMART LOVE by Vincent FUDGE II

To my understanding, the book is about a couple, Edward the narrator and his wife whom their marriage was falling apart. The narrator is at a blink stage of either giving up or rebuilding their trembling marriage. At his despair state, the narrator remembers clearly how he can do to save his falling marriage, that is the techniques he always applies at his job. Moreover, Vincent Fudge II lays out an interesting and empowering method to adopt communication and help save the falling relationship. However, the author discusses communication techniques, measuring progress and practicing relational accountability and alignment goals hence SMART LOVE. In addition to that, the author authentically applied these techniques in order to relate with the readers on how to be a better partner and overcome challenges in a relationship during the process of rebuilding the falling relationship and after. According to the narrator he and his wife came to new reality about themselves. For instance, the narrator was surprised by his wife's favorite restaurant choice (24/194). The book on the other hand encourages couples not to easily give up on their marriage or relationship. The author emphasis especially that we ought to work hard in order to achieve whatever we want. The author encourages readers to stay positive and be strategic in order to conquer any obstacles in their love life.

The book was good because it demonstrated to readers the real life experiences, something I personally expected when laying my eyes on the book. Moreover, the book focuses on saving marriages from divorce. The author was very authentic in terms of writing styles and techniques.

On the negative aspects, the book was really not bad in a sense that, yes, the techniques applied are effective but it requires time, energy and dedication which some partners may fail to give attention to. Impatience may be leading factor when applying the smart techniques towards building your love story.

I rate this book 3 out of 4 because it clearly pinpointed what I expected when picking it up. The narrator was dedicated to change or rather rebuild his marriage hence that what inspired me to keep on reading each chapter till the end. The book is well written and the language is simple and clear to comprehend.

I think the book could most appeal to adults or anyone who is in a romantic relationship or in marriage. The book is also recommended for both males and females. Any person who is in a romantic relationship or is ready to be in a marriage can read this interesting book to learn more on how to successfully be ready to overcome trials in their love journey.
