[Following is a volunteer review of "The Employee Millionaire - Personal Workbook" by H. J. Chammas.]
The Employee Millionaire - Personal Workbook by H. J. Chammas is a self-help book for those individuals, who have a dream to be financially independent. It also serves as a brilliant guide for anyone interested in exploring entrepreneurship.
The book explains several financial aspects in a way that is easy to understand. For instance, the author effortlessly discusses concepts like cash flow, net worth, good debt and bad debt. Furthermore, the author also enlightens us with the obstacles and challenges we might face when renting a property. Over a period of time, the author has acquired a great deal of knowledge on loans and various ways to finance a property. He doesn’t shy away from sharing with us about all the gathered information pertaining to loans.
The author’s mentor who is often referred to as “Papa Joe” is a self-made millionaire. Through him, we learn how important it is to have a mentor, especially when we are starting our new business. Papa Joe has some great insight when it comes to finance, and this is brilliantly documented in the book. The author also expresses his gratitude to his wife and everyone who has directly or indirectly helped him in his journey. Which reminds us, the significance of having a strong support system and right people around us.
The author has explained in great depth about the concept of personal financial statement. This statement, gives us insight into our financial health and in turn prepares us for the steps we need to take. The personal financial statement is a product of two entities, personal balance sheet and personal income statement. This in-depth analysis is a great way to bring forth the problems we have in our financial life. Along with this, we also learn concepts like cash flow, good debt and bad debt which is essential if we want to change our current financial status. All of this otherwise complex information is presented in a manner that is both easy to read and grasp.
The language used in the book is simple and easy to understand. The author has explained every aspect in a detailed manner. These are the reasons why, I have nothing negative to say about this book.
Although I did find a few spelling errors, none of them broke the flow of the book. I would still rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because the author has discussed a brilliant strategy in a simple manner. Overall, I think this book is a great guide on how to start and become a good entrepreneur.
