How To Be Successful, Think Like A Leader is an inspirational book written for those who dare to dream and change their fortune. There is no need to read between the lines for one to decipher the true meaning of the book title, it's all there for everyone to see. To the aspiring entrepreneurs and dream chasers, this book is nothing but a nudge in the right direction.

Diagnosed with diabetes at a tender age of two, Curtis never let this affect his life and stop him from attaining his goals. Despite his diabetes he goes on to start a multi-million dollar company in his early twenties. Fate, however, had more mountains for him to scale as he was diagnosed with yet another disease, brain cancer. This proved to be a difficult situation for him as he was only given a few months to live by doctors. The collapse of his first company was thus inevitable. However, through shire determination on his part and , for the greater part, on his parents, he was able to overcome these hardships and showed the true meaning of the phrase "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger". Out of the battle to survive brain cancer came the idea to start Best Cellular, a company that would change their and many people's lives forever.

As if his story alone is not enough to inspire us, he brings to his aid other successful entrepreneurs to share with us their wisdom as to what drives them. This he does through a cocktail of interviews where he asks the same questions to all the interviewees. It is in their answers that we come to appreciate his reasons in asking the same questions. M.Curtic McCoy wanted the reader to understand that what drives and motivates each and every individual is totally different, not every success story is the same. We each have to fight our own battles and overcome them. He wanted to prove that this book is nothing but a set of rules and guidelines to aid wannabe entrepreneurs in their journeys to success.

Faith, friendship, and family are some of the most talked about topics in this book. "No man is an island" is a phrase that comes to mind when pondering the points that are brought about in the narratives. Friendship seems to be a very important topic for the writer as he dedicated two whole chapters to making and keeping good friends. He even goes on to teach the reader how to make new friends. In this emphasis on friendship he shows us that in order to survive in the world of entrepreneurs one has to have a circle of trusted people around him or herself. This ensures that one wont be cheated or scammed in one's deals. On family the writer showed that an entrepreneur cannot do without family. Family members are the ones who tell you the truth even though it might hurt you , they won't sugarcoat any truths if it will hurt you.

Prayer is shown to be one of the most powerful weapon any aspiring entrepreneur should have in his arsenal. Most of the interviewees pointed to prayer and church as the most useful tools that helped them in time of great need. M. Curtis McCoy's mother, who is one of those interviewed , goes on to mention that at Best Cellular before any major decisions the whole company goes into prayer. She dedicates the success of the company to prayer and God. In this regard the writer also goes on to tutor us on language and vocabulary to use as God fearing entrepreneurs. He proves that cursing and profanity are not a prerequisite to success. One can be a powerful orator without using profanity in his vocabulary.

The book was edited to perfection with no typo or grammatical errors at all. The writer did not rush through the book, he clearly took his time to impart his wisdom to the reader. We are indirectly given reference to other books to reader for further learning. One such book is Rick Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. I rate this novel 4 out 4

This book is definitely for aspiring entrepreneurs and anyone who wishes to make a paradigm shift in his or her financial life. Anyone who likes to read inspirational books will surely devour this book!

McCoy, through this publication, presents a blueprint on how to lead a successful life. He does this by compiling responses obtained from interviewees as well as several life lessons that apply to business, relationships, and all facets of being truly successful. I totally enjoyed reading it.
