Nowadays, it is very common to see people claiming to be messengers of God or people say that they are endowed with divine spirituality. And with these statements, they convince people to follow them and praise them. Normally, these people are capable of deeds that no ordinary people can perform (miracles). Well, What if these people were a fraud? That's what we will try to understand from Tortured in Ashram by Prem Nambiar. In this book, the author desperately tries to denounce a scheme of manipulation of Ashram believers in which believers are intentionally attacked by microwave weapons that can influence the way people act, and provoke various health disorders that are later cured by gurus with the excuse of performing miracles. And he tells his own experience to support his arguments.

The author, who clearly appears to be an atheist, began his argument by presenting evidence of people who claimed to be messengers of God or people divinely inspired. But in reality, they were just criminals and deceivers who took advantage of people's naivete. Then, he contextualized his arguments very well, explaining in detail the focal points of his argumentation, in order to make the reader understand what he will learn. And I congratulate the author for that. He knew very well what he was talking about when he wrote this book.

I personally do not agree or disagree with the author's point of view. I think that his point of view should be analyzed in-depth so that a clearer conclusion can be reached. However, I do not condemn anyone who thought or thinks he is crazy for defending his point of view because l it is very difficult to believe what he says, especially considering some unusual arguments he used to demonstrate his point of view.

Furthermore, the book does not have instances of profanity, but even so, due to the content that the book conveys, I do not recommend this book for underage readers. Moreover, I cannot fail to mention that the book displays contents that will be considered offensive to any type of religion, since one of the intentions of the author I believe was to attack religions. But still, I recommend this book to believers, so that they can open up their minds to new perspectives.

To conclude, I would like to congratulate the author. The book was exceptionally written and edited. I found only one error and for this reason, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars .

I am religious, but would avoid so called messengers of God by all means. I believe this book is worth reading. Thanks for a great review!

It’s hard to believe that you and I read the same book. I honestly wonder if the version (#6) that I was given to review was different then yours. I documented dozens of grammatical errors including punctuation, verb tense, and improper word usage. This is a quite interesting query.
