Review by marirej -- Learn to Love: Guide to Healing You...
Have you ever wondered what little thing you are missing to make your love relationship with your partner perfect? Or, perhaps, is there something that constantly prevents you from having any kind of love relationship. Thomas Jordan, Ph.D. in his book Learn to Love: A Guide to Healing Your Disappointing Love Life leads you to answer these questions based on years of working with his patients, whom he has helped lead a healthy love life and achieve healthy love relationships.
This book is designed as a perfect guide for readers to find the right answers in a very quick and easy way. The author first introduces us to the ideology of love, what it really is and whether we think about it in a healthy way. He directs us to our first encounters with love relationships and how they further affect our love life. He leads us to discover, for ourselves, what the core of the problem is when we do not behave healthily in love relationships and further directs us on how to eradicate such thoughts and how to turn negative emotions and feelings that hinder us into positive ones. This path to healing the mind from negative perceptions of love life, which are very likely to have arisen unconsciously, is derived from formulas that the reader applies in order to understand himself as soon as possible and reach the goal.
One of the things I liked most about this book is that the author directly uses his example to explain how he perceived unhealthy relationships in his life and how he unconsciously applied them in his love relationships. In this way, the author gives the reader a direct example of the path he/she needs to take in order to learn to love. Also, the book is very clear and from the first page shows readers what they are going to read and what they can learn from it.
I think that this book extraordinary and also an excellent example of how to practically translate the fruits of many years of research and work to the audience, and that is why I would rate it with 4 out of 4 stars. I would also say that I believe that every reader managed to see the problem of his inadequate love relationship and also have motivation to solve that problem as soon as possible.
In my opinion, this book is intended for an audience that is just entering into a love relationships, an audience that is wondering what is wrong, so he/she has not yet attracted "the right one" into his/hers life. As well as an audience that thinks that "the real one" does not exist or, after all, appears only once in a lifetime and never again. With this guide for love life, Thomas Jordan succeeded in his intention to be able to help anyone who sees a problem in their love life in any way.
