Review by Benggirl721 -- Happy Healing by Dominique Bourlet
A self-mitigation book. This book is about painless healing. It is a way of alleviating various pains and discomforts you are experiencing by accepting your pain as your “best friend.” Pains are our “messengers.” They let you know that something is not doing well inside your body. If we listen to them, we can take the right treatment at the right time.
This book explains the importance of being human. Loving each body parts is valuable that is why we must take care of them. They are like any other living things that need protection in order to live.
Reading the HAPPY HEALING: 8 Magic Steps to Relieve Physical Pain and Discomfort helps you learn on what to do when you are in-pain but applying this process is enormous to lessen the pain, to get well. Most of us do not want to undergo the painful process of healing. That is why the author is telling us that there is a healthy and natural way to relieve our discomfort or perhaps cure them through happy healing.
My rating for this book is 3 out of 4. I didn’t rate this 2-star because it is informative and helpful to people who are in pain physically, emotionally, and mentally. Although Dominique Bourlet explained his book well, a perfect 4-star will unfairly rate the book. There are some incorrect grammar, like this sentence written in this book, [No machine, no wonder doctor can experience as well as you your touch depending on the health issues]. This sentence is confusing because the pronouns you and your are used incorrectly. Rewriting this should put into consideration.
The happy healing quiz is what I liked most. This made this book more interesting because it will let you analyze your feelings about your pain. Very soon, eagerness will pop up to your mind and eventually lead to reading excitement. Though the book entails so much information on natural healing, there is an element that I disliked most - the restriction on naming the body-in-pain. We can have a speedy recovery if we feel delighted. If one name that comes to our mind and brings so much joy to us, we probably want it to be the name of our pain. But what if this name breaks the rules in naming the body-in-pain? We will feel sad. Therefore, there should not have restrictions.
Every information in this book would be most applicable to people and families with a family member who has a health issue: physical, emotional, and mental. The book will guide them to become a self-loving, appreciative, and thankful. These are their foundation to heal from any discomfort.
I will leave a quote from the author of this book, Dominique Bourlet.
"NO to reduce negativity, YES to increase positivity."
