Pivotal moments : From High School Dropout to Serial Entrepreneur written by Susanne Bigersdotter who was born in Sweden,it's the journey of the author from low phase to a satisfactory life with pivotal moments. Her story starts with a description of her relation with her father which is not so good and supporting though over time she developed the relation with him. Susanne shares about the incidents that made her dislike her father because of his less caring behaviour towards her. She had broken her heart many times and growing up she realised how trusting someone is very hard.

She never got true and honest people. Girls at school used to bully her because they were sort of jealous or sometimes because their boyfriends became friends with Susanne as she was smart and pretty. She shares an incident when she was on her way back home and a group of girls started to follow her and threaten her for talking to a guy. She doesn’t enjoy school and always wanted to earn money, so she dropped out of high school and joined her father’s business.

At her teenage life, she had a boyfriend who was five years older than her. He drove motorbikes, worked as a bouncer and also went to prison for something. One night when he was at a party for Susanne's father, he got recognized and immediately told to get arrested. After it all got over, Susanne decided to go to New York. She always had issues with friends, mostly fake ones. After she returned from New York, she tried to go back to school.

She met a person in writing class and both fell in love and decided to get married. At 25, she got pregnant with Elliott and she got divorced because she found a friend in her husband more than a lover. She started working as a waitress. Her life was good and she married again and gave birth to her daughter named Filippa. After a few years she again split up with her second husband. Her life has never been easy or if clearly normal. Still, in some societies people think if a marriage doesn’t work it might be because of a woman and if a woman is getting a divorce for a second time then definitely women are said to be the problem in the relationship. This notion has been still prevalent in contemporary societies. The author has shown how her life has been changed because she had a desire to become an entrepreneur from starting. She never gave up on her dream no matter how many times she faced the failure. She had strong will and suggested immensely to the art of social networking. She has mentioned how networking is important for the growth of a business.

She started with a basic maths app, moved to diet app and gaming app. She had become an App Queen of Sweden. She founded the Stockholm App Lab. She also became a public speaker and mentor for guiding women to take control on their life and making them learn entrepreneurial skills. My rating is 4 out 4 because I did not dislike anything about this book. The book has easy language and is not hard to understand. The writing style of the author is moving and kept me hooked till the very end. Some of my takeaways from the book are to keep trying even after failure, never stop social networking to benefit your business, never put all eggs in one basket, trusting is not easy so don’t rush ever and take your time, always do something that you love doing as it will be better in long run. Overall, its a motivational book and one can learn a lot from this.
