This book is an autobiography. It was very intriguing and at times I felt like I could

not put it down. Junk Justice by Gerry Rising was a very well written account of his

experience with the justice system. After reading this book you will understand the title.

What I liked most about this book was it was a true life experience. Autobiographies and

biographies have always been my favorite. I can relate to a true story more than fiction. I

could really see this story produced into a movie or mini series.

There really wasn't anything about this book that I disliked. I would say that Chapters

12 and 13 sort of lagged. They could possibly be shortened a little. There were parts that

could be omitted that I felt took away from his story. This book would be for anyone that

likes autobiographies or biographies. If you are a big fan of the TV show,"Law and Order",

like I am, you would like this book.

The first profane word in this book was found on page 82, second paragraph, first

sentence of chapter 6. I only found one grammar error. It was on page 284 in the second

paragraph, second sentence. The sentence reads as follows: " For USA Walsh, who went on the

become Chair of Attorney General Eric Holder's White Collar Task force, that would have

meant admitting that one of his widely heralded convictions was ill-advised." The word, the,

should be changed to the word, to. The first typing error was found on page 49 at the bottom

of the page. The line spacing is wrong. This happened only one other time on page 276 in the

second paragraph.

I would rate this book a 3 out of 4 stars. It was very well written with only one

grammar error and only two typing errors. This book was very well documented and referenced.

Like I said earlier, it was very intriguing and it was very thought provoking. It made you

think about how many more people could have this happen to them and maybe they would be too

afraid to tell their story. If this book is published it could perhaps help others that would

find themselves right where Mr. Rising was. I think that is one of the reasons why Mr. Rising

wanted to share his experience. I have to say that Mr. Rising handled his situation well and

perhaps better than most.
