This book is timely and appropriate in todays climate where social media is the most utilized ever and it only continues to grow especially among young-adolescent children. The dangers are many and this book will help parents to understand the pitfalls of social media usage when kids are not properly monitored and managed. This was a great read, especially for parents struggling with how much kids should use social media as well as and should they monitor their kids social media usage at all. After reading this book I am sure many will answer yes and change their approach to social media. The advice was timely and I will refer this to friends with children so that they can read the book and decide based on the reading if they need to monitor or not monitor their kids social media usage. This would also be a great read for PTA groups. I would give this book a 3 out of 4. For those parents who have never even considered the exposure that their kids are getting (both negative and positive). Social media can potentially open you and your family up to unwanted dangers, strangers and inappropriate images that you would not want your child(ren) to see, hear or participate in. Social media can be amazing for everyone, but it has to be handled and monitored just as you would when your kids go out to play, you want to make sure they (as well as you) are aware and being as careful as possible.
