Review by Rintis Putriani -- The Mindset by Ace Bowers
The Mindset
The Mindset is a book written by Ace Bowers, a very good example of people who succeed to become a millionaire in his young age, 28 years old. Ace described his colorful journey from janitor to Silicon Valley millionaire only in five years. It is not an easy road, with plenty of challenges around the corner, but it’s worthwhile. Good example described with simple way.
Trough long processes which filled with hard work, persistence and drive, success is something possible to achieve. Determination to break the cycle of poverty developed strong motivation and created proper mindset. It all fuels the efforts during the journey. Then it changed the life and become strong foundation for the year’s life to come. With helping hands from important peoples around, the journey become lighter and faster. It is very touching and inspiring story.
Everybody has their own hurt and emotion from past life which was painful that could become causes of lots disease if it suppressed deep inside without releasing it. It could appear as a heavy disease after years. In the book, Ace describes some succeed practical ways he did to release all those negative emotions. Talking honestly and openly to the person from the past life - if they still alive – about how the feeling was hurt by their act in the past. Write down and put into writing is also a therapeutic of our oppressive burden around. Forgiveness would also be good to help in releasing the negative feeling and emotions. Creating new, better memories will help erase, or at least soothe old scars. These are some example which easy to apply yet need courage and consistence.
I rate The Mindset 4 out of 4 stars. It is a very good book to read, since it enriches the reader with new insights and lots of motivation in facing life problems and struggling in process of hitting the goals of life. I only found one objective error in the book (a repetition of typing word of “opposite”). I can recommend the book to everybody, especially young people searching real examples of success on achieving goals of life. The language is simple and can bring the reader into the situation as if become part of the story. The book is an excellent and easy to catch the key points, but reading for several times to get deeper understanding and lesson learned is best. It shows the reader some important values which need to be maintained and developed within everyone`s own life.
The book also shows and emphasizes the importance of motivation among others in order to achieve great things. I quote some impressive sentences from the author. “Everyone has milestone in their life. Learning to overcome the worst circumstances and turn them into a life. We are our own person. If we do not like our life the way it is, we have the power to change it”. All these precious lessons concluded by the author from the hard process and it worthies.
