A vivid description of the important events in the life of the author, Ace Bowers, is very beautifully unfolded in the book,“The Mindset” . I rate this book with 4 out of 4 stars. If you are someone who want to learn lessons from the life of others and improvise the experiences of your life, I recommend you read this book. Ace Bowers has explained not just about his life events but, extracted a valuable essence from his own life that would be helpful for the readers in learning how to look at one’s own life and grow.
The character “Yuka” in the book has attracted me a lot. I love to have such human beings around, and I appreciate the author very much for letting everyone know about such a nice person. Yuka’s excellent characteristics like having great patience during the bad phases of her life, having extreme trust in her husband and family, trying to see good in those who appear as bad to the world and so on, are necessary for every reader to grasp and applaud. Those qualities must be appreciated and propagated to inspire many more.
The Story of Ace Bowers tells the reader that it is always possible to come out of any kind of bad situation in our life and we can choose to work towards our progress, which means that it is always in our hands whether we make our lives hell or heaven. The description of certain events in the author’s life like his inability to change the home situation and at the same time loving his parents, triggered tears in me. This is the quality in the author that must be acknowledged and propagated. The extent of positivity of the author inspite of having all the odds at home is an extremely excellent thing and this is so beautifully presented in the book.
The book,“The Mindset” is well written and well edited. I could see in the author’s explanation of his own life events that he values his relationship with his father and mother, and his brother and sister inspite of their misbehaviors. Inspite of his helplessness in improving the circumstances at home, Ace Bowers showed the readers how to be very strong and put up with the situations. Inspite of knowing that Ace’s parents fight with each other very often, Yuka preferred to live with them and could mingle with them well. I think that this is the art of living well.
This book is an example for having positivity and healthy mind irrespective of the outside situations. I feel that the author has done a great job of writing his life story and publishing it as a book that stands exemplary for how to work on healthy relationships. Inspite of his bad childhood due to his parents, the author prefers to provide healthy mindset for his children which is an ultimate healthy way of responding to the bad situations. For me, this book is exceptionally good in all the ways.
