The Biblical Clock by Daniel Friedmann with Dania Sheldon is a great book full of interesting theories pertaining to biblical history combine with science. The author includes the commonality of Creation referred to in Genesis and in scientific theories the age of earth by calculating it in God's years. If you read Genesis you know that God created earth and the universe in six days and on the seventh he rested. Now days you would think how can that be, but, the author gives us an insight on how this was accomplished.

He takes us the reader's back in time of Isaac Ben Samuel during the time of the siege of Acre 1291 by the Mamluks that had taken over. The Mamluks killed Christians and Jewish people, including burning a synagogue with people inside. Issac Ben Samuel was taken prisoner and later on ransomed. Isaac Ben Samuel also studied the rabbi's work and writing the Me'irat Einaim; however, Isaac was more interested in solving creation. Isaac also had kept a diary called the Otzar HaChaim.

The author shares with us concerning his daughter buying a pair of jeans that look old, but, are actually brand new just made to look old. With this thought of the probability of God making things look older then it is. Even though today we have technology that can determine the age of rocks that scientist use including the timeline of biblical scripture appeared to be very close to the Creation timeline, as the author has concluded during his discussion with his nephew.

He also explains that science works in assuming that the majority of things are a natural cause. This makes sense, especially if you have read anything to do with our solar system. The explanations of how old the sun is and how stars are created including the Big Bang Theory. It's all very interesting especially when the author shares how biblical scriptures coincide with science.

The author also shares his time with his nephew going over biblical history including a diagram of the historical patterns that is in relation to the Divine Plan. The different events that had occurred during the biblical time and also explaining free will that God gave us humans. This is a great read and very well researched. I recommend this book to everyone that happens to be interested in science and Biblical history, you will not be disappointed. I give this book 4 out of 4

As a Christian I'm definitely going to give this book a read, I'm actually very excited about it. It sounds like a exceptionally interesting read and would streght my faith even more and help me answer some of my questions I have or bring about more questions.
