Fearless Thinking, Stress-free living, Guaranteed (Almost) is a spiritual guide with practical solutions on ways to improve your life with yourself and others.

The book is presented has letters directed to the author's wife. The chapters, therefore, all start with the date and “Dear Uma”. Each letter reacts to a situation where stress and fear can be found. Purandar A. Amin explains them in a deep and spiritual way. He then goes on about how to conquer those weaknesses, beforehand or on the spot. He also encourages the reader to do the exercises he provides as well as to take notes of our emotions during the day and let our mind free itself from any ill-minded thoughts.

What I found great with this guide for a stress-free life is that the author goes into profound details of our worries' origins, for him, they are not only from the present but also from the past and future. He puts under the spotlight all the layers around what scares us. His concepts are often taught through metaphors about nature like “Mountains allow the very dirt and rocks they are made of to move about freely. Birds abandon their empty nests when their chicks have grown. Trees shed their leaves without any hesitation. So why do we – humans – find it so hard to let things go?” I find this very peaceful in itself and it really adds an element of the author's mind and personality. This book is mainly based on what Amin knows, and thinks and he does warn in his preface that this book might challenge rational believers and religions. Another positive point is that Purandar A. Amin chose to write in the form of letters to his wife, creating a more personal sensation to this guide, and consequently the ideas presented touch the reader deeper. At the end of each chapter, we can find "Points to Remember": a way to summarize the important pieces of advice. This style of writing and presentation facilitates the reading and makes it more interesting.

The only thing I found a little unfortunate is the way all of this is backed up. This is only from the author's experience, and we don't get any outside statement or any proof that these methods work. This is why I give it 3 out of 4 stars.

As a whole, I consider that everything the author said could help someone, especially someone who believes in spirituality, forces and energies. Otherwise, I think it would also be interesting for someone looking to live a more peaceful life because they would find some tips and exercises that could be beneficiary to them whatever their personal beliefs are. Finally, the book is well-edited and is easy to read. Interesting and can certainly be eye-opening!
