Empowered by Dominica Lumazar is an exceptional resource for those looking to improve their leadership skills. The advice given does not only apply to the owner, but their managers, and even their employees. This book is primarily focused on empowering business owners, but there are plenty of tips that could improve anyone’s life. If business owners were to apply this advice, then they would not only be becoming better themselves but helping those under them.

This book is full of useful information that can be applied in any leadership role. The author uses her experience to write this book which made it intriguing and not bland like a leadership manual would. In addition to her life experience, it contains information she has learned from other business owners. It does not solely focus on increasing revenue, but other topics such as health, attention, and life in general. It is easy to read because it covers so many topics that it is hard to find it boring.

I enjoyed reading this book and could not find anything that I do not approve of the way it is currently. If I had to change something, I would have liked more experiences from the author's life. I think more examples from real life may have given more information about how to apply the principles discussed in different situations. From beginning to end, it is filled with valuable information and does not tire or overwhelm the reader. The information you are meant to take away is simple to understand and easy to remember.

I give Empowered a 4 out of 4 stars rating because the author did an exceptional job of including the important information but also making it interesting for her audience to read. I did not give it a lower rating because I found it exceptionally flawless, I could not find anything I did not like about it. This book was exceptionally well edited; I could not find any errors.

I recommend Empowered to anyone who has a desire to lead, but mainly to business owners who are researching ways they can improve their business. The topics Dominica Lumazar discusses can be easily applied and the results of the practices taught are exceptional. While this text is mainly focused on leadership, I think large portions of the principles discussed could improve anyone’s life. If you are looking for a novel, then this book is not for you.
