“There.. she had done the unthinkable. Crouching down with hunched shoulders, she held her breath for what seemed like an eternity and squeezed her eyes shut, dreading what must inevitably happen next”
Who told you that you were naked? explores in a profound way difenrent passages of the old testament where the popular original sin, the one when Adam and Eve tasted the forbidden fruit and remembers the consequences of this action, it also explores other wells know stories like Cain and Abel.
As someone who is not into any faith, I think it's interesting to know this type of books, to understand the feelings of others in a better way, besides that I consider than you would receive a more objective opinion in my review.
It is a book that every Christian should read at least once or for those who want to introduce themselves in this faith, but also for those who do not belong and want to know a little more about the bible and faith which as I mentioned before, it is my case.
William E. Combs, in its ten chapters, uses a very simple language so reading will be easy, which will also include the interpretation of facts, opinion and experiences, in the end it also has a small questionnaire which can help deepen the themes, also in the remark, some important lines, such as the written one, the beginning of this review, what is a touch, very interesting, and the sense of what it is that you want, what is preserved in the of each section. book is used for teaching children.
Faith, in these times, is a complicated topic to talk about and sometimes it may be offensive to some, I think the author handles this well as it does not offend to anyone, even so in some passages it feels like trying to persuade to be included in this faith, something that I did enjoy at all, in addition to that in certain parts it feels that he takes too much time to pass from a topic to another, this could be boring and tiresome for certain moments, equally, another defect to consider is that the book has too many types of words and sizes which is confusing or unprofessional.
In general it has been a good book, and it has managed to catch my attention even though it is a topic in which I do not usually have much interest in and explore the same old stories in a different and easy way, however I will give 3 out of 4 stars because the author extended the topics more that it was needed.
