HEALTH TIPS, MYTHS, AND TRICKS by Morton E. Tavel, MD
This is really an amazing book written by Mr Morton E. Tavel. Full of wonderful health tips, Myths and tricks. The information content of this book will be helpful to every fancy reader.
This book has been divided into three sections by the author; these sections include firstly “Health Tips, which will enhance healthier and long physical outlook. Secondly “Myths” which explains the common misconceptions relate to almost anything regarding our physical makeup and how we relate to the world around us. And thirdly “tricks” which are dedicated to various schemes that are intended to take your money in exchange for dangerous products or information.
In order to achieve ultimate success in the aspect of weight loss, Regular exercise is an important assistant to all diets and makes reducing easier. Reduce the portion sizes by consuming a total of fewer than 2,000 calories per day and it should be cooked and eat at home in order to provide better control of portion quantities and salt consumption, it is advisable that individuals should Increase consumption of fruit, vegetables, and protein because that generally provides satisfying bulk with fewer calories per unit of volume. Stop the use of artificially sweetened; replacing sweetened drinks with water will increase the sensation of richness and will decrease the perception of hunger. Food supplements are products that are safe and effective and not drugs but supplements are often unsafe, they should not be taken for purpose of weight-loss.
Scientific studies have advised that missing breakfast may cause several consequences which may include weight gain, elevated blood cholesterol, high blood pressure, development of diabetes, and increased risk of heart disease. Eat your breakfast every morning so that you can leave in good health.
Coffee improves good health, provided it is not consumed in excess. And also, Tea is a rich source of flavonoids, compounds that seem to help cardiovascular health. Fish (such like salmon is a very healthy food that contains beneficial proteins and omega-3 fats. The sodium that we consume is the major cause of high blood pressure. And it is recommended that each person should control the amount of sodium he or she consumes, thus, regulating it to not more than 2,300 milligrams per day. Exercise advantages are many to point and its effect is well known to prevent and also treat heart disease, strokes, and decreasing or avoiding higher blood pressure levels.
I never wanted the book to end despite making effort to unfold everything written inside the book, the author had really worked hard and smart to source for useful and confidential information that had made up this book.
I as good luck would give this book 4 out of 4 stars. The book was excellently written with almost no error found at all. Punctuation was very much observed and the book was self-explainable without complex words. Every person can easily comprehend this book. I would love to have contributed in some aspect of the book but I couldn’t find a place for that. For health reasons, i recommend this book to every person that really cares for his or her health and willing to leave in good health. And to the author, I will advise you write more books related to health. Thank you.
