I liked the least how strong was that woman, the way she was fighting with her problems and obstacles. She wasn't giving up even though it seemed like the whole world already did gave up on her. What I disliked the most is the all complaining Fabiola Piedad Maria Alicia Reynales de Berry wrote down about her life.
This book is about woman that after so many years of marriage finally realized that the marriage itself is no good and even more, she realized that it was the failure from the beginning. It turns out that her husband is the selfish man that acting more like a pig, he doesn't care not about her and not even about himself. He doesn't communicate with her at all, nor with any other people. She is the only one person in the relationship that doing something to keep it working. She is quite patient with her husband. She is all the time feel sorry for the way he is and she is trying to come up with the new excuses to forgive him for his improper behaviour.
Later on she found out that this man never wanted to marry her in the first place. He never wanted to keep that marriage and he was living with her only because she was nice and sweet woman that was forgiving everything he was doing wrong. That's by the way what he said to her one day, which of course broke her heart again.
I rate this book 2 out of 4 stars. I gave it 2 stars because the author describes woman like an angel that was dealing with a very bad husband and she says that she is the woman that is so communicative and capable of earning big money, she is the leader in the family and she is loved by so many people and yet she stays with a man that never appreciated her, never loved her, and treated her like absolute nobody for so many years. The book seems quite undone and it leaves reader hanging in the air after finishing reading it. Because reader doesn't see if she found any solution for her pain, although the whole book she is working on it and she finds it, but the process is so slow an unclear that it annoys a little bit. Otherwise, the book was edited professionally, there are no grammar or spelling mistakes.
The Acquiesce to love peace gratitude would appeal to people that are going through the same problems that described in the book: like divorces, family problems and etc. Well although this book can be quite depressing, because author says there that she was having an extreme amount of pain going through, never mind divorce but a whole marriage as well, which is not clear why being so good and independent she couldn't find somebody that would actually deserve her and make her happy.
