I really liked your reason for why this book is worth reading. In particular the point about a leader considering their leadership motives and the focus on servant leadership. I think when a leader considers their motivation to lead and uses servant leadership it is powerful because it may reduce selfish motives. When a leader balances their ego by focusing on serving the best interests of others and the organization then a leader has the potential to be successful and make a difference in those they lead.

This sounds interesting and insightful. Can I really be a leader in 30 days?

Thanks for the comment. It is true that such books are rare hence getting one that deals on servant leadership is like coming across a precious jewel.

Thanks for the feedback. Leadership is a process in itself and there is not an endpoint or destination but this book can help you a lot especially in the formative stage of leadership.

Eva Darrington wrote: 12 Sep 2018, 16:18 An interesting niche this book fills. When I read the title I hoped the book wasn't claiming you could learn to be a good leader in thirty days. It sounds like it is just offering some useful tools for those who don't have training available. I imagine it would be really useful in that regard. Thank you for a really great introduction to this book.
Sure, it is more of guidance than a promise of becoming a leader in 30 days. I had the same thought too before I read it. Thanks for the reply.
