A 20-year-old Lina sits in a Starbucks, sipping a Frappuccino and studying on her laptop. She needs to use the restroom, but who can she trust to watch her belongings? Suddenly, the handsomest cop that she has ever seen walks in. Who do you trust if not a cop? She approaches him and notices the deepest blue eyes. She almost gets lost in those eyes and forgets what she wanted to ask him. He said, of course, he would watch her laptop and other things. She hurries up to the restroom, and after she is finished, applies some extra lip gloss and fixes her hair. When she comes out, she doesn’t see him at first, but he is standing by the doorway and smiling at her. She notices that he has bought her another Frappuccino, and as she mouths the words “thank you,” he winks at her and leaves. Attached to her Frappuccino is a note. She hurriedly opens the note and reads it. He left her his phone number and said, “Jon Cote, call me.”

She calls him that night, against her roommate Daphne’s objections. They have a date for the next night, and she can’t wait. She thinks about Jon all day long while in class and can’t concentrate on anything. That night, the date is a dream. They talk for hours, laugh, and have a lot of fun. She doesn’t want the date to end, so she asks him if they can go somewhere more private. He said that his apartment is just around the corner, and so off they go. They have sex that night, and wouldn’t you know it, she gets pregnant. That is all that I am going to tell you. You will have to read the book to find out what happens.

The story was engaging, and it swept me up from the first page. I got so lost in it that a few times, I had read chapters without taking notes, as I forgot that I was supposed to be reviewing this book. I had to go back and reread the chapters, this time taking notes. Jon is so handsome that Lina (Catalina) is lost in his eyes and face. He is her everything, until…

If you like books that make you feel good and root for the characters, this book is for you. There is a little excitement and crime that they get into. I found zero errors, so it was professionally edited. There was profanity, but not overly so. There is sex, but it is not graphic. I recommend this book to lovers of romance and crime mysteries. The rating can be nothing less than 5 out of 5 stars. There was nothing that I disliked about Operation Superglue by Stacy Lee. I liked it, and I’m sure that you will too.

The book title is, definitely, captivating and it already caught my interest. The plot itself is also interesting, and I am wondering what happens when Lina discovers that she is pregnant. Overall, many thanks for the amazing, informative review, @Shirley Ann Riddern Labzentis; I enjoyed reading the review.

The title sounds interesting. The plot seems to be gripping too. I'll add it to my reading list, so that I come back to know what happens later in the book. Thank you.
