Soul Seeker begins with the sad story of Benjamin Poe, a firefighter who encounters a mystical being, and his life takes a sad and depressing turn. The mystical being whom Poe encounters is named Crighton. Crighton is on a mission, and his mission is to mete out judgment on those who have done wrong and take their souls to hell. Benjamin's son is the guilty one, and while Benjamin is trying to defend his son against this dangerous creature and prevent him from taking his son, the result is not what one would have predicted. Though Benjamin Poe's story is how the book begins, the story goes on to more dangerous tales involving angels and demons and a mysterious group of humans who search out the paranormal and the mystical by scientific means.

Soul Seeker by Kaylin McFarren is a paranormal fantasy novel. The book contains themes such as romance, paranormal, fantasy, the afterlife, etc. Though the book, which is divided into two parts, begins with the story of Benjamin Poe, further reading of the book shows the creativity of the author in bringing about a fantasy world of angels and demons. The author writes about evil and the triumph of good at the end over evil; there are also other minor characters that will definitely interest the readers apart from the ones that had a major role to play.

The book was outstanding on several fronts, and one character that really made me enjoy reading this book was the angel, Ariel. Though she was not introduced until the second part of the book, I found her character so endearing that I enjoyed reading about her the most in the book. I may be biased because she was portrayed as an angel in the book, but what I enjoyed about her was her compassion and gentleness. Even when one would have expected her to be angry and show hate, she did not. Another amazing attribute that makes her my favorite character is her bravery and confidence. She was not one to cower in the face of a demon who looked stronger and more powerful than her.

There is nothing I disliked about the book. I commend the author for such an exceptional and creative book. Through the author’s creativity, I was able to picture the story vividly and imagine the scenarios that the author painted so clearly in the book, as well as the supernatural beings that were described in the book. The author also captures the emotions of the characters so well in the book; the love, sorrow, heartbreak, and other emotions that the characters experienced in the book were aptly described by the author. With these positives, I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars.

I recommend this book to lovers of paranormal love stories. It's an engaging and intriguing tale that explores the concept of soulmates and the fulfillment of ancient prophecies. I also recommend this book to a mature audience, as some content in the book is not suitable for children or teenagers. The book is excellently well-edited.

Vividly seeing supernatural beings is not something I would enjoy, but I am glad that you liked the book. Because I am not a "lover of paranormal love stories," I will have to skip this book.

Love stories and romances are not my favorite genres. I know that this is not the official genre, but it is implied. The whole paranormal thing does pique my interest, however. Thanks!

I thoroughly enjoyed her book! Honestly Creighton is my favorite character. I felt like any actions he did was completely valid and in his realm of authority to do so. I really didn't care for the humans in the book, but I could be bias because I love this type of genre. Ariel was a fun character. However, in the third part of the book towards the end with Crieghton, Ariel and Lilith, I was not a huge fan. But! I am currently reading her other book, "Twisted Threads" and I am loving it. A complete turnaround from this book, but still so many turns, and twist and I highly recommend you reading this book.

This story tends to portray dark theme, like the setting I'll love to read. Thanks for an interesting summary of the book.

Soul Seeker by Kaylin McFarren seems like a thrilling mix of fantasy, romance, and the supernatural. The way it weaves themes of good versus evil, along with intriguing characters like Ariel, makes it sound like an exciting and emotional read.

This is an intriguing story about angels and demons. Will Benjamin Poe succeed in saving his son against Crighton? I would like to know more. I will add this book in my list.
