When Sparklynn James, a famous Hollywood star, goes missing, Dash Hardwood, a famous astrologer and close friend of hers, finds himself compelled to find her at all costs. He teams with a private detective by the name of Rebecca in hopes of finding her. With a minimal amount of clues, they embark on a dangerous journey, one that could both end their careers as well as endanger their lives. Yet the more they delve into the case, the more sinister it seems, and Dash has no choice but to follow his gut and go undercover in order to make sense of the voice recordings sent by the kidnapper. But that's the least of Dash's problems; he's on the run from one of his clients, who is hell bent on killing him after a reading went wrong, which resulted in a loss of money. How will Dash deal with the different scenarios regarding the disappearance of Sparkly? Will he be able to find her with just a view of the phrases in a voice recording, or will the case lead to a dead end? Follow Dash as he unravels the mystery surrounding Sparklynn's disappearance and finds out what becomes of the Hollywood star at the end.

Crimeline Hollywood, written by Thomas Collin, is a thrilling adventure surrounding the disappearance of a famous Hollywood star. The story begins with the astrologer Dash Hardwood racing through the streets of North Carolina trying not to get killed, and thereafter follows with him moving to Upper Coolidge, where he disguises himself as a commoner named Morty Buntz. But when his close friend and client Sparklynn James gets kidnapped, he has no choice but to go back to L.A., where he teams up with a famous private detective by the name of Rebecca Fairway, and they both try to locate the missing star with a limited amount of clues.

The book is very detailed, and the reader cannot help but find themselves solving the case with Dash. I loved the character of Rebecca and the way the author has portrayed her to be a strong, independent woman. She is also someone who is a leader and does not take nonsense from anybody, not even the police.

There was nothing to dislike about the book. Though I thoroughly enjoyed the book, there were quite a few errors that I encountered while reading; hence, I rate it a 4 out of 5.

The book contains profanity, murder, and romance as well. It is a must read, and if you are one of those millions out there that enjoy a good romantic thriller, then this book is surely for you.
