In Kaylin McFarren's Soul Seeker, a chilling and captivating narrative unfolds as Benjamin Poe's life spirals downward after being wrongly accused of causing his son Gabriel's tragic death. As Poe grapples with his new reality, he is inevitably pulled into a realm of supernatural horrors, where dangerous entities and demonic powers seek to consume his soul. With his very existence at stake, Poe must undertake a treacherous journey of self-discovery and redemption, traversing dark landscapes and confronting the deepest, most sinister aspects of his psyche in a desperate bid to find solace, reclaim his life, and break free from the darkness that threatens to engulf him.

The story begins with a dramatic and intense scene, immediately immersing us in Poe's dire situation. As he shares his story with his lawyer, it becomes apparent that his intention is not to defend his actions but to expose the ominous and inexplicable events that led to the tragic outcome. Poe's account masterfully crafts a sense of tension and suspense, leading to a stunning revelation: he maintains his innocence and claims to have been compelled to commit a terrible act to rescue his son from an evil supernatural entity. This enthralling fusion of crime and the paranormal sparks many questions, keeping readers enthralled and invested, eager to solve the mystery in tandem with Poe as the story unfolds.

The character that captivated me the most in the book was Crighton. Despite being initially perceived as the story's antagonist, I liked the enigmatic role this character played right from the outset. His unwavering devotion to his mother further solidifies why he is my preferred character in the book. I found no dislikes in the book.

I highly praise this book for its flawless writing and error-free content. I give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. With its valuable life lessons and engaging characters, I wholeheartedly recommend it to fans of fictional novels featuring supernatural entities, exploring themes of good vs. evil, love, and soulmates. This book is thrilling and engaging, making it a must-read for those who enjoy action-packed stories with a celestial twist.
