"The Tiger's Eye: Angels in Mumbai" by Scott B. Delaney is a gripping tale that follows Andrew Morrison and the Global Calling Ministry's efforts in Mumbai. The story begins with Andrew and his daughter Alisha navigating the Dharavi slum to hold a successful service, setting the stage for a series of events that unfold dramatically. As Andrew's family faces kidnapping by mercenaries seeking to disrupt the ministry, tensions rise, and the stakes become even higher.

I became engrossed with the book as I read how Andrew and his daughter Alisha navigate the dangers of the slum. They encounter Dr. Nehru and embark on a journey that will test their faith and resolve. Meanwhile, the looming threat of religious extremism looms over the horizon, with the introduction of characters like Rahul Prasanna and Aakesh Sharma, whose paths intertwine with deadly consequences.

The novel expertly weaves together multiple plot threads, from the personal struggles of the Morrison family to the larger conflict between the Global Calling Ministry and the Indian Liberation Resistance Organization. Through twists and turns, the story builds to a climactic showdown at the Kingsford Garden Stadium, where lives hang in the balance and alliances are tested.

There is nothing I dislike about this book. As the story unfolds, themes of redemption, faith, and resilience emerge, underscored by the intervention of celestial beings like angels and demons. Through twists and turns, the characters grapple with moral dilemmas and confront the consequences of their actions, ultimately finding hope and salvation in unexpected places. Delaney's vivid storytelling and plot make for a captivating narrative that keeps readers on the edge of their seats until the very end. The book is exceptionally edited.

I rate the book five out of five stars because of the undeniable suspense it carries. Fans of suspenseful thrillers with a touch of the supernatural will find much to enjoy in this engaging tale of faith and redemption.

The character development in ‘The Tiger’s Eye: Angels in Mumbai’ is truly remarkable. Andrew Morrison’s journey, shaped by his traumatic past, and the experiences of characters like Rahul and Sanjay, are deeply intertwined, adding layers of complexity to the story. Delaney’s ability to weave these personal stories into the broader narrative is a testament to his skill as a storyteller.
