The Raven’s peak is a fiction book written by Lincoln Cole and have a C/T/M/H genre. It is about battling the demons and supernatural. The story started by a lady named Frieda, she is one of a hunter of demons in the organization is investigating a case, in this case a something peculiar is happening when some of her fellow hunter did not came, asked her ex-partner Arthur, he is imprisoned and considered dangerous, but she trusted him to investigate an unknown disturbances.

At first Arthur don’t want to accept it, feeling bitter of Frieda who put him in that cell but when he heard that Abigail, a girl who is almost a daughter to him, got involved and Frieda didn’t know what happened after losing contact to her, hearing about this, he changed his mind to save Abigail. He accept the mission and went to investigate, but he found it more unsettling and fearsome than he thought which cause his life and saved Abigail.

After that incident, Abigail tried to find the demon who took Arthur away and meeting haatim in the process, Haatim who is only a human, who happened to be mixed with the battle, when the demons use him to distract Abigail but she saved him. Haatim was surprised by seeing ominous things he only know in books and by some extent how Abigail know all about it.

That is how the adventures of Haatim and Abigail begun, as Haatim tried to find answers to his questions became more involved than he needed to be and as he tried to understand the new world he is in, he is surprised how little he don’t know and how he is in an dangerous state.

I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars, this a first book of a series and I really enjoyed reading it, if you are a fun of mysteries and supernatural, I suggest that you read this and you will have fun. Also, if you are new in reading a genre

This is not the type of book I read, but I like mysteries but I don’t commonly read gore stuff, because my imagination became realistic sometimes, but I became curious of how the mysteries in the book will unfold and how will the characters develop. It is really good, interesting and funny. First it just make you curious, then there is actions and then you will notice to yourself asking what and why. The way the author wrote it is good, he didn’t use much deep descriptive words, where you need your dictionary while reading it, it make readers like me who sometimes float in the middle of reading, can easily imagine the scenes and the actions take place.

I also like the characters, especially Haatim, I like how funny and sane he is, he is a character that tried to be strong and in the same time logical on his decisions as much as he can. Characters today sometimes became repetitive or unrealistic, his character is full of reasons that sometimes it is crazily true but funny. The characters are strong, mysterious and in the same time funny. While reading the story, it became more exciting and the same time more mysteries and more questions arises, I like how the author circle in this events, where the reader will certainly want to read the next book for more.
